The Copyright Office has organized a send-off ceremony in honour of Mr. Bernard K. Bosumprah, the former Copyright Administrator, and a few other former members of staff of the office.
Mr. Bosumprah, a Lawyer by profession, joined the Copyright Office in 1987 and rose through the ranks to become the Copyright Administrator. He served the office diligently for nearly 23years.
Other former members of staff who were also honoured for their meritorious services to the office were Togbe Buami IX, Chief of Gbi-Bla Traditional Area, Dusimefia: Right Wing of the Gabusu Stool, Volta Region (known in private life as Daniel Soglo), former Chief Accountant; Mr. Ben Nyadzi, former Senior Folklore Officer; and Ms. Christiana Baiden, a retired Senior Typist.
All the honourees were given citations and some presents.
